Belius is a platform founded in Switzerland for renting sports cars, premium vehicles and luxury cars. Renters compare offers from different hosts and book via the website or app. Hosts can list their vehicles and manage bookings, contracts and payments digitally.

Choose a vehicle and your dates. Depending on the vehicle, the booking is confirmed instantly, or you send a request: the host answers within 30 minutes of their response hours, at the latest within 24 hours. If they decline or do not answer, you get the full amount back. The vehicle page shows which applies.

You need a valid driver's license and an ID (identity card, passport or residence permit) and must meet the minimum age the host sets for each vehicle. It is shown on the vehicle page. Belius checks both documents. You can also submit them after booking, at the latest 12 hours later and in time before the rental starts, otherwise the booking is cancelled.

Hosts set the prices for each vehicle themselves, in tiers by rental length, such as 3, 6, 12, 24 or 48 hours. You see the price, included kilometres, any extra kilometres, delivery costs, payment fee and deposit on the vehicle page and at booking, before you confirm – with no hidden costs.

Belius can be used across Switzerland. The selection depends on where hosts offer their vehicles, and some also deliver. You can see which sports cars are currently available near you directly here.

On Belius you'll find sports and luxury cars from various brands – directly from private owners and rental companies. The vehicle overview shows which brands are currently available, as the selection changes constantly. Whether a host is verified by Belius is shown on the vehicle page.

As an owner you can rent out your sports car through Belius and earn income. You'll find all the details on platform access, insurance and the process on our partner page.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and, with an address in Switzerland, TWINT. TWINT only pays the rent: if the vehicle requires a deposit, you also store a credit card for it.

Whether a vehicle requires a deposit and how much it is, is shown on the vehicle page. It is held on your credit card, not charged, at the earliest 4 days before the rental starts, or as soon as the booking is confirmed for short-notice bookings. Without an open claim from the host it is released after the return, at the latest 3 days after the rental ends.

The payout starts after the rental ends, once no claim against the deposit is open. Depending on your package, it also waits for the completed return protocol. You receive the rental price and delivery fee minus your package's booking fee, via Stripe Connect to your registered bank account.

The host takes out the vehicle's insurance, and it is included in the rental price. Whether the vehicle has comprehensive or partial cover and how high the deductible is, is shown on the vehicle page. Additional insurance cannot be added on Belius.

Document the damage immediately with photos and report it to the host via your booking's chat. At the return it is recorded in the return protocol on Belius.

In case of an accident, the insurance the host has taken out for the vehicle applies. If it covers the damage, you pay at most the deductible per incident shown on the vehicle page. Anything it does not cover is governed by the host's rental terms and the insurance conditions. In case of damage, please contact the police and Belius immediately.

Secure the accident scene, call the police (117) and emergency services (144) if there are injuries. Document everything with photos and fill out the European accident report. Inform the host immediately via your booking's chat. If the rental ends early because of it, report this in your booking.

Meet the host at the agreed location. Inspect the vehicle together and document its condition with photos on Belius.

The host sets the location. On the vehicle page a circle shows the surroundings, and you receive the exact address after the booking is confirmed. If the host offers delivery, you enter your address when booking and see the delivery cost. Anything else you can discuss directly in the chat.

Return the vehicle with the same fuel level. Clean the car and remove personal belongings.

If you return late, the host can raise a claim for the delay afterwards. You see it in your booking and can accept or dispute it. Please notify the host as early as possible via chat if you cannot return the vehicle on time.

Upload a valid ID and your driver's license on Belius. The automatic check usually takes a few minutes; when Belius checks by hand, usually up to one working day.
